We ask that you be prepared with $249 to start your emergency visit. This covers your doctor's exam and x-rays so we can determine a diagnosis. At that point we will be able to determine your total cost. If the problem is a single tooth this will many times be a tooth extraction or a root canal (possibly with a crown). Our team will present you payment options to cover those additional costs including monthly payment arrangements that work for most budgets and do not require a credit check.
We do accept most dental insurance. We do not, however, accept Medicaid. If you have Medicaid, we can still treat you, and we will work with you to make payment arrangements so you can get the treatment you need.
Probably close to half of our patients do not have dental insurance, so you do not need insurance to receive dental care at Afdent®. Many of our patients take advantage of our different treatment financing options to get the care they require.
We provide many financing options at Afdent®, including in-house payment plans and 3rd party options provided through lenders like Care Credit and Cherry Financing. To qualify for our in-house payment plan option, we ask that you or another responsible party simply show proof of income. We do not require a credit check. Our 3rd party options do require additional qualifications.
